Frequently asked questions

The Impactkid L.A.R.P. is a culmination of 2 years of development.  Our founders, with their combined knowledge and skills, developed a way to learn essential life skills through play.

Our activities include:  Theater games, STEM activities, Story-telling, and Role-playing

First students will discover their strengths, and then use their strengths within the games to complete missions collaboratively.  They will progressively improve their strengths and build new ones through rewards within and outside of the games. During the L.A.R.P. children will be presented with opportunities to affect the story with the special powers they build over time and decision making which in parallel teaches that there is always a consequence for every action.  There will be parts in the adventure where they will have to demonstrate teamwork in order to accomplish a goal to progress through the story.

During the game students will be earning points for completing activities and demonstrating leadership skills, and using them to level up their character.  Their real life character traits translate into superpowers inside the game.  Each student is provided a character sheet to keep track of their progress.
